BIOGRAPHY

Anke from the Netherlands, started dancing and gymnastic at the age of 6. In 2016 she graduated at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg. In 2007 she worked as a dancer on Arion cruise and in 2008 and 2009 she was a dancer and choreographer in several holiday parks in Italy. In 2010 she joined the circus as a magic assistant and started to learn and perform her aerial ring act for Tevet productions in Israel. From 2011 until 2015 Anke travelled with several circus through England, Belgium and Holland. In moments between performing Anke turns to here other great passion, teaching dance. She loves to share her passion for dance and believes in the positive effects dance can have for the development of the human body.

Luis grew up in Belgium and is the fourth generation circus family. He started travelling with his family, the Argentinian devils, at age 18 and they performed their gaucho act in many big shows and circuses around Europe.
Since a very young age Luis had a passion for music and lights. He is an excellent DJ for many styles of music and has mixed as a pioneer DJ in many clubs around Europe of which very famous clubs in Ibiza, Mallorca and Amsterdam. From 2012 until 2014 Luis travelled the world as a DJ for Celebrity cruises and Disney cruise line.
From 2008 until 2012 Luis worked on his passion for light developing his own light and sound company in the Netherlands.
Here he proved himself to be a very successful businessman, light and sound electrician and light designer.

Duo lugo started to create their unique laser act in 2015. The combination of Luis his technical knowledge and Anke her dance background was perfect to create this unique and original act.
The act and costumes are completely designed and made by the duo. They are constantly improving this act to stay as unique and original as possible.
At the moment they are also working on Anke her aerial act to make this act also as unique as possible. The debut of this act will be with Christmas 2016 in Wintercircus Hilversum. The act will include amazing 3D projection and light effects.
Duo lugo both have EU papers, own transport and accommodation.
